I am new to Portland and the area coming from Southern California Ventura County and we weekly explore the area to get our bearing and find new and interesting places. The Garden Corner is one of those rare bits of gardening heaven you wish for but can't seem to find. My wife and I love to garden and seek out the local nurseries. I happened upon The Garden Corner while driving somewhere and returned with my wife. I read some of the previous comments by others and we were greeted upon exiting our vehicle. We met two of the staff as we strolled the grounds. The place is like a walk in a beautiful park, display tables and such not in any uniform pattern with wide paths. The displays are beautiful and thought provoking, which gave me numerous ideas. I asked questions of the staff about the local climate and the plants, shrubs, succulents, etc. with respect to surviving winter temperatures. I was pleasantly surprised and hopeful I can have the same success. I did not purchase anything with this visit but we will be back and will certainly will next time. One last thing is that there are places to sit and contemplate the plants and how they would work in your garden. The nursery is in a beautiful setting with tall cedars about and color...

The Garden Corner has a unique selection of plantings that are difficult to find in most nurseries. Jon and his team search many of the growers to bring in unique specimens that can add an awe to the garden landscape. Kate has put together beautifully designed containers and hanging baskets for our property. Many thoughtful questions are asked of us that allow her to create an amazing palette of plantings tailored to our likes. Toby has helped us with setting up the irrigation needed to support all of our plantings throughout our garden, and the delivery team is hard working and conscientious. Through all the changing seasons, The Garden Corner is more than just a plant nursery; they are your garden support center. Jon and his team are excellent, customer focused and will work tirelessly to meet your...

The Garden Corner is a must see experience if you are in the area. This nursery has the heart and soul of the team there and it shows. My wife is an wheel chair and she really enjoyed the wide paths and her ability to really get around and enjoy the garden center. Their staff is bright and friendly. They are my go to place for hanging flower baskets. I drive over 12 miles from Southeast Portland to get them.

This year we tried to save some time and bought some baskets form a prominent garden center in southeast and we were sorely disappointed. They were not properly set up and they had root rot within a week or two. After the great experiences with garden corner we were sore disappointed. I would recommend their quality...

this place is amazing! i went on an off-day midweek in winter and was still amazed by how beautiful the grounds are, the selection of plants available, and how sweet and kind the staff are! kathy was so kind to answer all of my questions, and even make me a cup of hot chocolate to enjoy while walking around. their indoor-plant greenhouse is dangerous for hobbyists and collectors alike, not just will a wide variety of plants but also macrame hangers, hooks, planters, pots, moss poles, and more! everything i saw was well priced, especially considering the time and skill that goes into their hanging arrangements. i left with my hands full and very happy, and look forward to coming back once things start warming up!

Well, this is my new favorite place. As soon as we arrived we were served lattes in little pot-shaped cups to drink while we wandered through the almost overwhelming selection of plants. They offer pre-made hanging baskets or you can put one together yourself. You can even bring your own pots and use their potting station (with free dirt!) to plant your pots. This was a revolution for me, as I don't have a good spot to play in the dirt at my apartment. I ended up going home to get my empty pots and bringing them back to The Garden Corner to fill them up!

Excellent retail nursery that caters to the season, helping you plant for success! They typically offer workshops of all kinds. Bring your own pot (or buy one of theirs) and you can create your plant arrangement right there, soil and fertilizer are free of charge and they clean up the mess for you afterwards! They have a rewards program and are very helpful. The walk through this botanical Disneyland was both impressive and calming.
