Yavapai Lodge exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The lodge's location, nestled amidst the breathtaking beauty of the Grand Canyon, is simply unbeatable.

The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the food court. Not only was the service lightning-fast, but the food was also absolutely delicious. It's not often you find such a winning combination of speed and quality in a food court setting. The diverse menu options cater to every palate, and each dish is prepared with care and attention to detail.

The lodge itself is clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The staff members are friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to assist with any inquiries or special requests. The attention to detail in every aspect of the lodge's operation truly sets it apart.

The convenience of being so close to the Grand Canyon's stunning viewpoints is an added bonus. It made exploring the natural wonder a breeze.

Overall, my stay at Yavapai Lodge was nothing short of exceptional. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable Grand Canyon experience. I can't...

An educational experience wrapped in history. I guess thats the best way to explain it.

The overlook is a small building with a glass wall that faces the canyon. I love coming here and reading the placards to see what I am looking at. To see the relief map and understand that no matter what, we just can't see the entire canyon. You finally get to see just how grand the canyon really is.

If you are unable to get to Desert view or Hermits rest, this is the best alternative and most popular place to see the sunset.

When walking from Mather pint to here, I find the best rock formations to walk out on and get better views of the canyon and also get to see more wildlife hiding the grass and treeline.

They use to have binoculars you could use to see the other side, but those are gone now. bring your own, this is a perfect place to see the Colorado river and phantom ranch...

What a beautiful and magnificent site. I always knew it was huge, and the pictures can never do it justice. You have to be up there to feel the gravity of the sheer size of this place. Great place to bring kids to see. Always keep an eye on them though, as even wandering a few feet over can be detrimental. Not all of it has a fence, there are definitely areas (the majority actually) that are open to the cliff's edge. So be careful. Parking is free, but entrance to the village is not. It's $30 per vehicle, and don't think walking/biking el spare you from paying either. Of you have an America the Beautiful pass, your car can get in for free. St the price of $80/year, it's well worth the price. Plus you get into all nations parks.

Grand Canyon Purple Natural Light Hour!!!How to Take Pictures of this amazing Sunset moment! One of the UNIQUES moment for pictures at the Grand Canyon, is on Sunset moment, exactly the last 30 minutes of light REMEMBER THE PARK IS HUGE AND YOU WILL TO BE AT SOME OF THE POINT VIEW, I RECOMMEND TO YOU MATHER POINT AND YAVAPAI POINT (because is close to the Visitor Center and one of the best views of the Canyon). CHECK THE SUNSET AND SUNRISE TIMES AT GOOGLE. For this moment you only will need your cellphone at the begining of the Sunset or Camera and tripod (because the light start to leave and you will have more chance of pictures using tripod (forcing the camera to absorve the light that remain in the atmosfere).
