Plesantdale Park really doesn't exist anymore. Over two years ago, Dekalb County Parks and Recreation sold much of the property to DekaLb County Schools to build a new Pleasantdale Elementary School (it will open for the 2020 -21 year). Before that, Dekalb P&R granted a youth soccer organization exclusive rights to have two fields for practices and matches. Read moreThe park is not the best to be honest, but it'll get the job done. There's a lot of ants and dog poop in the grass areas or on the grounds. There's a lot of biting spiders and wasp on the bleachers/benches. It's not my preferred location but for the area, I understand the condition because I'm familiar. The park has an upper and lower set of natural grass fields, public restrooms, a small playground for toddlers and shares a parking lot with a school.
