They closed the park before sunset, trapping my husband inside with no prior warning or announcement. There were no signs indicating an early closure, leaving him stranded and forced to abandon his rental car. He has a 5 a.m. flight, but the park will still be locked when he needs to leave, and with no earlier flights available that day, he’s now going to miss his son’s first birthday. I called every possible number—311, the fire station, the police—but no one would help. Instead, they accused him of “breaking the law” for being there after sunset, which is absurd because he had no way of knowing it would close before the sun set. They showed zero empathy, brushing it off with a “too bad” attitude, as if it’s not their problem.
His car is stuck, and he won’t make it home in time, all because of this preventable situation. It’s heartbreaking and infuriating. I can’t stop thinking about others who might be more vulnerable—like disabled people who can’t simply walk to an Uber. What happens to them? There were at least two other people stuck as well. How can they lock the gates, knowing cars and people are still inside, without any notice? There should be clear announcements or signs warning that you’ll be trapped if you don’t leave by a certain time. This isn’t just poor planning—it’s negligent and dangerous, a complete disregard for basic human rights. Imprisoning people and their property KNOWING they have no other way out sounds ILLEGAL, but they get away with it because they make the law I guess. Not to mention this isn’t the first time this has happened I have seen other reviews where the same happened to others and one where TEN cars were there and got...
Read moreA mountain has been a great place to see Tucson and its downtown area from a high view point since I was a toddler. Yes people, I do remember since then. It was also were we lived. My old neighborhood. Lived right across from the circle K on the corner of congress and Grande. Its not a circle k anymore. The liquor store is still there, and it still has the same smell I remember when I was a toddler. I'm 43 now and still remember the bell even. The bell is activated by the black air hose, when the car tires step on it. I don't know if the hose is still there. But I remember. Anyway I will share pictures of A mountain. Thanks to my wife's Christmas...
Read moreA - Mountain is a true treasure of Tucson. I recently went to sing the Hawaiian Wedding song for a young couple that got married on a picture perfect day for the wedding. The groom is a member of the SGI USA religion and he is in my district. I also shot some wedding photo's for the couple. It a great place for visitors and local to enjoy the natural beauties of Tucson. The road to the top of the hill is narrow and one way up and one way down. Be sure to drive slow and be courtesy to pedestrian walking up the hill. Enjoy your trip to A - mountain...
