Our favorite place to spend a free evening outside. It's not the best fishing spot, but your options in Tucson are pretty limited... so it's great for scratching the itch. You get great views of the mountains and sunsets from here. It's easily accessible, right off the 10. Lots of covered parking spots, some pavilions, and a park bathroom. I wish there were more and better seating options around the lake, there are really only a couple benches and picnic tables, and many of them aren't on flat ground, so they're a bit...

I was surprised to find a place with actual water this close to our area of Tucson but not surprisingly the lake is pretty dirty and not something I'd want to touch however it was a nice break from the mundane scenery of the city. Lots of people, lots of dogs, lots of space. Sunset was absolutely stunning as usual, the desert never disappoints with the sunset. The loop trail is right off the side of the lake and if you had it in you to take a real long roundabout bike ride, parking and accessing it here would be...

Like to fish at this lake on occasion. The lake is pretty shallow with the deepest portion being around 6-7’. I still like to take my small boat out on this lake. Usually see a handful of people kayaking too. Always like seeing all the people walking the doggos from PACC. There’s a smaller lake that’s strictly for remote control boats. There’s also a huge dog park that I always see doggos running around and playing. People like to come here to bird watch. If you’re in the neighborhood stop by and...
