Our favorite place to spend a free evening outside. It's not the best fishing spot, but your options in Tucson are pretty limited... so it's great for scratching the itch. You get great views of the mountains and sunsets from here. It's easily accessible, right off the 10. Lots of covered parking spots, some pavilions, and a park bathroom. Read moreI was surprised to find a place with actual water this close to our area of Tucson but not surprisingly the lake is pretty dirty and not something I'd want to touch however it was a nice break from the mundane scenery of the city. Read moreLike to fish at this lake on occasion. The lake is pretty shallow with the deepest portion being around 6-7’. I still like to take my small boat out on this lake. Usually see a handful of people kayaking too. Always like seeing all the people walking the doggos from PACC. There’s a smaller lake that’s strictly for remote control boats.
