This park was so beautiful and the trail seemed to be well taken care of. My first time here so I wasn't ready for the decline to the falls. I'm talking don't trip because you won't stop for about 70 feet steep. It's broken up by some sketchy stairs and lots of exposed roots from several trees. When you get to the bottom the creek leads to the falls. Extremely beautiful place. I think there is only one in and one way out, which means you need to hike back up that steep death trail. I'm out of shape since covid and I had to stop 3 times going back up. I debated on eating my leg but thought I'd get so full and fall asleep that I'd roll back down and never get out. I decided to keep on trekking until I saw the parking lot of life. I was glad to see the car it was a serious hike to get out. Much more difficult coming out than going in. Nevertheless, this park is absolutely stunningly beautiful and it's a nice place to spend some time together with your friends and family.

Beautiful waterfalls. I came to Tennessee for a half marathon with friend, but it got canceled. So me and my friend looked for close hikes and found this one. To get to Machine falls at the bottom. Just keep going down and keep left in till u go down where the bridge is at the bottom and from there u can go up to falls from there. To get to Busy Falls. U cross the other bridge on the other side. Go right and Stay left at the bottom trail near the water. Dont go up. Then just keep falling the water till u get to the bottom of the falls. The rocks are slippery and it's more difficult to get to then Machine falls. The other two falls are small. Not really worth going to unless u want to get more miles in.

Set out with some friends on what became a stormy day with the goal of visiting a beautiful waterfall - the most beautiful waterfall I’ve ever seen in person so far. Honestly cannot recommend this trail enough, and the staff at the office in the state park were a tremendous help in locating the best means to park and access the waterfall. There’s a lot of wonderful lookout spots for the local avian life as well, bring your camera!
