Escape Tuscaloosa — Attraction in Tuscaloosa

We started off our Tuscaloosa escape adventure with Escape Tuscaloosa and what a wonderful place to begin it was! We give this venue 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 for high production value, friendly and accommodating staff, excellent puzzle design, and look and location of facilities.

We arrived early as walk-ins and were immediately greeted by friendly and accommodating Chad who, with his equally awesome associate Aly, booked us for all four rooms with just the two of us competing.

We were able to do all four rooms in a row, with a short break for some refueling at Edgar’s delicious bakery next door (serving not only baked good but light lunches), recommended by the staff.

Our favorite rooms, in order, were The Cabin, The Prison, The Playbook, and The Casino. ALL were great rooms, but we had the most fun in the creepy cabin and also creepy but slightly humorous prison. Alabama State fans: Don’t miss The Playbook where you can bask in crimson glory (if you are over 6’ tall, beware of lasers). The Casino is a perfectly good room, just a little high-tech for our liking (it was also the only room we didn’t escape, so... there’s that grudge!)

We did The Prison.

I have done a few escape room in a couple of different cities and this is, by far, the best we have visited. All of the workers are SO friendly and helpful. They made you feel very welcomed and very comfortable. You could tell they very clearly enjoyed being there and working with their customers. It is also very well priced for an Escape Room.

Next were the puzzles. They were SO much fun. They really made you think but weren’t impossible to solve. They were just challenging enough to be super fun and some of the most inventive puzzles I have seen in an escape room. You definitely won’t be disappointed in the quality of the room.

Also, the building itself is very beautiful and comfortable. Great decor that makes you feel comfortable. Very short wait to get in to our room.

We are visiting from out of town and thought this would be a cool experience for our gymnastics team! Our party of 16 arrived and about half of that consisted of little kids (10 & under). We were all so excited (maybe even too excited) and ERT did NOT disappoint! The crew (Jacob, Macy, & Juliana) were so patient with us checking in and even gave us a heads up about which room would be too scary for the little ones. I’m so glad they did that!!! The rooms are incredibly well thought out and super fun for all ages. I honestly don’t think we could have even come close to escaping without the clues from the crew. You guys are awesome and our whole party is still raving about how much fun it was!!! If you’re in Tuscaloosa, PLEASE DO NOT SKIP THIS!! You will be sorry if you do!!! SO MUCH FUN!!! Can’t wait to...
