The Funny Farm — Attraction in Tusculum

Fantastic place. This is a farm, so the attractions are the animals. They are the stars of the show, and boy did the kids love it. Much like a petting zoo that makes you feel like family! Admission was $5, a filled to the brim sandwich bag of feed was only $1 per bag. They had goat races, two very friendly donkeys, 6 or 7 full size horses, a couple mini horses, ducks, and Highland cows. My personal favorite is Phil the 1.5 year old bottle fed cow that acts like a pet dog. The owners are fantastic. They will take the time to make you feel welcome, discuss the farm, answer any questions, and teach the kids. Hands on family friendly fun. Large sign to easily identify the location. We recently used The Funny Farm's goat-scaping service to clear our overgrown backyard, and we couldn’t be happier! After moving into a new house, our backyard was in need of serious attention, and we wanted an eco-friendly solution rather than using chemicals. Tammy was fantastic—she was very responsive and kept us updated on when the goats would arrive. The whole process was easy and fun, and the goats worked hard from Thursday through Monday to clear everything out. They did an amazing job, and we were actually sad to see them go! I'm a photographer (AMG Photography) and used their limited time western set on the farm July 2nd, 2023. All the animals looked happy, content and well cared for. Staff was helpful, in a great mood and enthusiastic to take part and be of any assistance with anything I needed. Both my client and I were very satisfied with the staffs kindness and allowing us to use the area. 10/10 If offered again in the future, I would continue to book and be around this group of wonderful people and animals.
