Maybe it was the perfect weather, but found this park so peaceful and lovely. My 5 year old boy and 8 year old girl absolutely loved it. It appeared not so exciting and too small when we pulled up, but they soon were playing and loving the excavators on the playground. The benches are in the shade, there's a large field next to the small playground, and it's in a nice quiet neighborhood. I laid out a blanket and read a book while my kids played. Know, though, that there is no dedicated parking lot. It is street parking but that was not a problem for us. Also, there are no restrooms. Playground equipment says it's best for 5 - 12 year olds.
Update: if you have younger children it is definitely best to use this playground when teenagers are in school. We've had a couple bad experiences...
