Hidden Valley Nature Trail Trailhead at Joshua Tree National Park was a fantastic starting point for our adventure. We were lucky to have a cloudy day with refreshing drizzle on a hot May day for our hike. The amenities here are top-notch, including ample parking, clean restrooms, and a spacious picnic area with well-maintained tables and grills. The stunning rock formations in the vicinity add to the charm, and there's even a paved walkway to the restrooms. A great spot to begin your Joshua Tree experience!

Took a trip here with a big group and it was great. Great scenery and great views of the Joshua Trees. The hiking trails in this area are for all levels of people. The picnic tables were clean and the restrooms were fine. I recommend stopping at this area if you are traveling through the National Park.

Hidden Valley is a beautiful and easy trail that allows you be completely surrounded by granite boulders with a ton of Joshua Trees in the center. I went in the winter so it was a nice reprieve from the wind.

I'm an elopement/wedding photographer and Hidden Valley Picnic Area is one of my favorite spots in Joshua Tree for ceremonies and photos. The permit to get married here is only $120 and the scenery is the perfect backdrop! There's lots of parking available (though I still recommend week days over weekends) and space to walk around and get a bit away from other visitors. I love that there are lots of Joshua Trees here, big boulder formations, and mountains in the distance. Sunsets are always amazing! No cell service, couple of bathrooms available, and...

Went Camping this weekend and had an opportunity to visit Joshua Tree. Despite the beauty of these photos it was absolutely miserable trying to capture them. It was very cold and the wind chill did not help. I got wind burn on my face, and I couldn't feel my hand while we out there. We were definitely not prepared for the weather!!
