Thanks to the review with the GPS coordinates! This camping area is now slightly west on the same road and is called Ricketts RV (or something). Still free camping, FCFS, there’s plenty of space for like 20+ vehicles of all sizes. Two vault toilets, campfire pits and picnic tables at each site. Only downside is very windy… and I mean very! It’s very exposed on the top of the canyon with not a tree in sight! Did the trick for the night though!

Snake River Canyon Park is the place where people follow Shoshone falls Road to see Shoshone falls. But Shoshone falls are on the other side. Maybe I stopped by in the summer, but there was nothing but a desolate field. Keep driving along this road then you'll see a signboard that I posted. Please refer to the picture.

Kind of a rough bid chunk crushed rock road and parking area. Good place for riding ATVS.. there's an emigration trail from the past that goes through the area and a beautiful rugged canyon there.

Came on Memorial Day weekend and plenty open spots. Not great if you’re looking for tent camping as the ground is very rocky. Good for rvs but no hookups. Basically a wide open circle of spots. No privacy if that’s important to you. Quiet and peaceful. Every site has a fire pit which is great....
