We really enjoyed our visit to Lula Cellars. Dan is a genial and fun host who made the experience a pleasure. This is California wine tasting as it should be IMHO; the tasting room is relaxing and welcoming and they impress you with the wine - not a multi-million dollar building. Admittedly, Dan did try to bribe us by flattering us for having the good taste to like whatever he poured, but I chalk that up to enthusiasm and good salesmanship. I was admiring the small fish in the pond adjacent to the tasting room, tripped, fell into the water and in doing so I lost my phone. The owners were absolutely phenomenal in everything they did to help me retrieve the phone from the pond. They even found a giant rake to try to brush it towards the shore. They had the best service and really went above and beyond. Great local business to support. And honestly, the owners had so much personality and stories to tell and worked so well at getting all the patrons involved together in a conversation....
