There's so much to see! I could spend the whole day and not see everything. The displays are beautiful and well organized. I've lived here my whole life and there's still so much history I never knew about until I went to the museum. I recommend visiting at least once to anyone who lives in the area or passing through. There's something there for everyone!

AMAZING - museum has so much information! Lots of old clothing, tools, vehicles, stamps, household goods, taxidermied animals, etc. All presented in well-designed exhibits that show how items would have been used and provide information about the items themselves as well as their provenance. There are a number of Native artifacts, but nothing sacred as far as I could tell - mostly trade goods such as beaded bags and moccasins. There's an entire large cowboy exhibit, a bank vault, several "storefront" setups such as a general store and cobbler's shop. Give yourself plenty of time to wander around! It's all on one level with no steps, but there are some areas with uneven flooring and narrow paths, so be careful if anyone on your party has...

A great experience and an extremely well done museum. Upon first entering you see just a normal simple entrance but step further and you’re taken through the history of the valley. Rooms off to the left and right with antiques and original artifacts of the time periods lead you through the past. Beautiful but interesting displays. Take a few moments to go through the two buildings beyond the courtyard at the back. Friendly docents and...
