Penn State New Kensington — Attraction in Upper Burrell Township

Penn State New Kensington is a wonderful campus and environment for learning. New Kensington (New Ken) is a small, personable, community that fosters student development and growth. The campus is welcoming and everyone is very friendly! This school is great for anyone looking to stay close to home for a few years or wants that small classroom experience. The faculty and staff really care about the students and want them to succeed. Another great thing about NewKen and the Penn State system is the 2+2 program. This allows students to spend two years at one campus and then transition to another. This is a great option for people looking to save money and also get a unique college experience on both a small campus and a large campus. Students have to do little to nothing in order to transition to another campus, it is NOT transferring. A penn state degree is a penn state degree regardless of what campus a student graduates from. New Ken is safe and affordable as well. I highly encourage students, and families to check out Penn State New Kensington campus to learn about the programs it offers!
