Great place to hike, jog, ride a horse or mountain bike. Trails are marked with green and blue ratings and are named. The trails have a decent amount of elevation change and are single track.

For the most part, trails are tree lined, shaded and have an immense amount of tree roots punching through the trail floor.

A bit technical on a mountain bike so you should have a decent bike with at least front suspension and be a decent rider if you plan to head here to ride.

After some rain, the trails do get muddy and the flies and biting flies are a royal pain.

We've been coming here since the 90's and appreciate the effort out into keeping the...

The terrific Park located in central New Jersey Harry beautiful hiking and mountain biking trails. The trail system is well marked and well-maintained and the lack of expansive distance is made up for by the varied and challenging terrain with decent amount of elevation change. The outer loop is only about 5 miles but recommend an intermediate biking level and full suspension bike is highly recommended. The park rarely gets very crowded, and it's also one of my favorite places for trail running. I would also highly recommend a stop at Screamin Hill Brewery about two miles down the road after a hike bike or run here well...

Great hiking and biking trails, well marked and managed. Challenging climbs and terrain for mt biking, full suspension is highly recommended and at least intermediate skill level. The outer loop is about 5 miles, but with decent elevation changes, its always quite a workout. Really one of my favorite places to trail run, too. Check out screaming hill brewery, a must, just 2mi down the road....

One of my favorite parks in Central NJ! The trails are well taken care of and there are many options. If you want an open field they have a trail for that as well as all the trails in the woods. There’s also a nice little lake that you can take a seat at a bench and admire. Some of the trails are very long so be cautious when you plan your route but, overall a great park for everyone!

Best trails around for hilly trail runners. Not for amateurs or those with weak hearts. Heart Tate hangs around 75 to 80 percent the entire run. 10 kilometers of will testing trails. Watch out for horses and their poopies. There a handicap accessible restroom. Bow hunting season is open so watch out for Hunters and flying arrows . Wear bright colors this tr ime of year.

Wonderful woods to hike through. Lots of flora, fauna and fungi to explore! Fantastic shallow red clay creek here which is very accessible for young ones. We even found Autumn berries and a few edible mushrooms. These photos are taken late September. The book in the photo is by Debbie Naha-Koretzky (aka the Wild Edibles Lady)
