This was my favorite hike that I did in Arches. I did it at sunset, which I would not recommend, as the trail is a little hard to follow at parts if no one else is around and there is a risk of getting lost if it is dark. About 2/3 of the way to the arch, the view is stunning. If you’re afraid of heights, this will be challenging for you. It is listed as a difficult height in the park guide, but it is not hard if you are okay walking for a couple of hours and scrambling a few times on rocks. The beginning is the toughest after you pass the landscape arch. It was a perfect difficulty and if I had more time, I would have done the entire...

Easily one of the most breathtaking arches in the entire park! Especially around sunset or golden hour! The view of the arch from the trail as you make your way around one of the many fins in Devil’s Playground is just incredible- and even more so as you make your way up close! A great finish to what is a long and difficult hike. Sit in the warm sand under the shade of the cliff or one of the many trees in the area and just take in all the sights!

As a reminder- Double O is off a difficult and LONG hike! Be sure to plan accordingly: take plenty of water, some comfortable shoes, and be prepared to do some rock scrambling and...

The main reward for hiking the devils garden trail. This set of arches is pretty impressive, to say the least. You get a glimpse and the best distance photo spot as you round the corner off a rock traverse section. You know you're close when you find the boulder that is barely hanging onto the trail path.

You can climb in the lower arch to get pictures of the kids. The climb into the arch is like a slide, so they might need a helping hand.

There are shadded areas to rest and break out snacks to recharge for the hike back or forward. The main area around the arch is a sand pit, so mind...

Have you been to Arches?🏜️ There is a reason Arches is so popular! We visited April-May 2021 and had such an amazing time. We can’t wait to go back!🥾 🚙 Arches NP is ~7.5 hrs from Phoenix 🥾Double-O Arch & Double Arch. Double-O is a moderately challenging hike and is 4.1 miles out and back. There are some narrow sections and steep drop offs. Double Arch is .6 miles out and back and is considered easy 🎟 $30 per vehicle. We used our America The Beautiful park pass 🚫 Don’t carve into rocks 🚮 Pack it in and pack it out! Don’t leave your trash behind 🗑 Trash cans at trailhead 🐶 Dogs aren’t allowed on trails 📍 Videos taken Núu-agha-tʉvʉ-pʉ̱ (Ute) lands. • • • • #moabutah #moab #nationalparkgeek #nationalparkservice
