Title: Great Boating Experience but Disappointed with Dog Policy at Pine View Reservoir

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our recent visit to Pine View Reservoir was filled with excitement as we embarked on a boating adventure. The reservoir provided a beautiful setting and offered an enjoyable experience on the water.

The boating experience at Pine View Reservoir was fantastic. The calm waters and stunning scenery made for a peaceful and relaxing time on our boat. We were able to explore the reservoir and take in the natural beauty surrounding us. The size of the reservoir allowed for easy navigation and provided ample space for various water activities.

The facilities at Pine View Reservoir were well-maintained and convenient. The boat ramps were in good condition, making it easy to launch and retrieve our boat. The parking areas were spacious and organized, ensuring that there was enough room for all visitors. The restroom facilities were clean and accessible, adding to the overall comfort of our visit.

However, we were disappointed to learn that dogs were not allowed at Pine View Reservoir. As dog owners, we would have loved to have our furry companions join us on our boating excursion. It would have been a great opportunity for them to enjoy the outdoors and spend quality time with us. We understand the need for certain restrictions, but we hope that Pine View Reservoir considers revising their policy to allow well-behaved dogs in the future.

Despite this setback, our overall experience at Pine View Reservoir was enjoyable. The breathtaking views, well-maintained facilities, and the peaceful atmosphere contributed to a pleasant boating experience. We would recommend Pine View Reservoir to others, but with the caveat that dog owners may need to make alternative arrangements...

LOVE THIS PLACE!! I come here every year with my family ❤️ will say this past year was one of the first times we ran into a problem. A lady [employee] was up yelling at people at 7:30 in the morning because of some broken/misunderstood rules. I was woken up to her yelling and I thought it was super rude to wake up camps sites like that over some parking issues. I would think if there was an issue that she would walk over and speak to people about fixing it, considering it was early in the morning, but instead she yelled and threatened to fine people. SUPER unprofessional and rude. Considering people are paying? I would think she would just speak to people like human beings over something they didn't know.. Being woken up to yelling like that? Not a fan.. not to mention it woke everyone at the sites around us and the baby at ours. Gorgeous...

The reservoir is great. Def 5 stars there. The employees who run the ticketing booth however, when they told us we had to leave to “go find cash” because their card reader was down were not kind when we asked for further details. They proceeded to follow our car around shouting at us when we pulled into the boat store to get the cash they required. Telling us multiple times we couldn’t park until we paid. Literally got into a swearing match with a family member. And once we did pay the 2 women in the booth continued to shout once our window was rolled up. We are curious as to why they’re so, so angry? Why did they swear at us? Why did they follow our car around on golf carts? Great Lake. Terrible booth keepers. I can’t imagine ever swearing at people at my work place because I can’t...

Best part of living in Weber County? Our communities are roughly 30 minutes away from TWO MAJOR RESERVOIRS! Which are perfect for all your water sports and activities! Get outside and enjoy! The real question is, which is your favorite spot? Willard Bay or Pineview Reservoir 🤭 #watersports #utahboating #summeractivites #UtahSummer #WeberCounty #WillardBay #PineviewReservoir

Pineview Reservoir is definitely a location to go check out. Boating and fishing here is amazing. The sights and sounds are breathtaking. If you love the outdoors or you’re not much of an outdoor person but want to give it a shot, then I recommend coming here. You can walk, run, ride bikes, boat and fish all here at this huge and beautiful location. I myself have recently become an outdoors person but spots like Pineview and Causey Reservoirs definitely have me loving this new found fun of a life for myself and my family. The water, the smell and the sights are hard to explain via words. You definitely have to come experience it for yourself to truly take it all in. Trust me you won’t regret it!!!
