Starvation has a very large reservoir and well kept restrooms. There is a boat landing for large motor crafts, and additional locations for personalized watercraft, like kayaks and stand up paddle boards.
The water is a gorgeous aqua blue, and there are amazing public beaches with pavilions and bathrooms. Generous camping areas, and some surprise entertainment like the tight ropes for those willing to test their balancing skills.

There are restrooms that are clean, small pavilions ("cabanas") that you can reserve, washing stations, and even a small concessions stand (and office). Read moreThe reservoir is absolutely amazing. The water is warm and beautiful. There are lots of DNR officers on site to make sure there are absolutely no rules or laws broken. They have a large play area for kids with inflatables and it is very family-oriented. Just make sure to have your boat fully up to code with all the proper safety equipment including a whistle and a square flotation device or you might get rushed by the DNR, like I did, and not able to launch your boat until you get a...
