Wonderful short hike to the upper falls. 2 dogs and a 4 year old in tow. It’s secluded enough to feel deep in nature but short enough to complete within 30 minutes. We started from the bridal veil falls, walked on the paved trail towards the the upper falls. There is a building with graffiti on it and that was where we started up the mountain. It was sprinkling and raining a little bit on and off the whole time but the trails weren't too bad, not too slippery, a little muddy though...And if you end up on the ridge we did, just below the top of bridal veil falls, just a warning….almost at the end of the trail, there are 2 or 3 steps only a little wider than my foot so I had to sidestep, hooking my fingers into cracks in the cliff to make sure I didn't fall down the mountain... If you are afraid of heights, do not...
