One of my very favorite camp sites into his area!!! And one of the only pay sites with flushing toilets that you don't need a reservation for!!! $30 a night. Price went up bc there were necessary repairs after all the snow last winter... very well maintained site!! TONS of bike trails!!!
The camp ground is big!! Loop A has more uniform and close together campsites.. good for tents and campers but soms sites are kind of rocky... Loop B I think it is has more individual sites and a stream running in the area. Some sites have the stream running thru them but they fill up quickly so go on Tuesday or Wednesday if you want those ones :)
The campground person is a super nice guy and very helpful! There is firewood available for purchase... 10 bucks a bundle I think was the price 2 weeks ago....

Hiking to the waterfall is a family favorite with the smell of fresh gritty earth and old growth ferns. Winter offers skate skiing and cross country skiing including rentals at the most southern entrance and is the jump off point for some awesome back country skiing with Cutler Ridge being the most popular. It is also a designated "Dark Sky" park. Several moose, some mountain goats and deer. Yeah, this is a pretty...

If you're looking for somewhere to camp that's not way out in the boonies, but still has nice atmosphere and is far away enough from city lights to see stars, North fork park offers such a solution. Aside from the camping aspect, there are LOADS of other activities, like hiking, biking, etc. The different group sites with pavilions also offer great gathering places. It's a really great spot, honestly. Do keep in mind, especially for the group sites, there is a fee, but it's about as average as other parks of a...
