⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A True Hidden Gem – Unforgettable Experience at Hidden Meadows Vineyard We recently stayed at an Airbnb in Escondido and were lucky enough to discover Hidden Meadows Vineyard, just under a mile away. Calling it a hidden gem is truly an understatement. We ended up visiting twice during our stay — the first time it was just the wives, and they had such an incredible experience they couldn’t stop raving about it. The staff made them feel so welcome and at home that they stayed for hours. A huge shoutout to Simone, Naomi, David, and the amazing parents behind this family-owned vineyard — your hospitality was beyond words. The wine selection is fantastic, and they also offer beer, charcuterie boards, and small bites — something for everyone, even families with kids. The atmosphere is laid-back, scenic, and inviting — perfect for relaxing with great company. Here’s the part that blew us away: After enjoying their wines, we called them later that evening asking if they could possibly deliver since we were just up the hill and wanted to avoid driving after drinking. To our surprise and delight, Simone personally delivered six bottles of wine to our Airbnb that night. Talk about above-and-beyond service! On our last day, we returned — this time with the husbands — and had an even better time. They allowed us to bring a small speaker (kept the volume low, of course), and we enjoyed an amazing afternoon sipping wine and soaking in the views. While the wives eventually went back, we stayed a bit longer and had the pleasure of chatting with David and Naomi, who truly made us feel like part of the family. This place isn’t just a winery — it’s a special experience, powered by people who genuinely care. From the wine to the view to the unbelievably kind and generous team, Hidden Meadows Vineyard is an absolute must if you’re anywhere near Escondido. To the entire Hidden Meadows family — thank you for making our visit so memorable. We’ll be telling everyone about you, and we’ll definitely be back!

What a wonderful new find in the backcountry of Northeast county. The views from the tasting area are incredible, and the wines are a pleasure. They offer small bites menu to include charcuterie and cheese and even some special desserts. The food is homemade, not prepackaged. They also have a beer selection for those in your party that are not into wine. Find your way out here to this out of the way place, and enjoy some good wine and views and wonderful proprietors. Note that they only have parking out on the street, and it's a nice walk through the vineyard to get to the tasting room.

During our recent visit to Oceanside, I discovered Hidden Meadows, a charming new winery making a name for itself. Perched on a hillside, Hidden Meadows offers a panoramic view of their own lush vineyard below, with majestic mountain ranges painting the distant horizon. The setting is serene and inviting, the perfect backdrop for enjoying their exquisite selection of wines. Each sip at Hidden Meadows speaks to their dedication to quality and craftsmanship. For anyone exploring Oceanside’s wine offerings, Hidden Meadows is an absolute must-visit!
