My wedding ring set was in desperate need of repair after 40 years of wear. The diamond set in the crown had fallen out as almost all the prongs had worn so badly they no longer secured the stones in the ring. In addition to all of this, the ring was scarred - an unintended consequence from contact with electricity. The condition of my ring was not due to negligence, but rather a lack of trust in jewelers from past experience. However, coming to Neustaedter's Fine Jewelry was a surprisingly, wonderful experience that has birthed a renewed trust and a confidence through the excellent people, work and service my husband and I experienced at Neustaedters. From the moment we walked into their place of business we felt a peaceful ease settle in our souls. The staff were very friendly and personable. As well, they exhibited a high level of professionalism and knowledge about their industry and products, which collectively made us feel very comfortable. We were in good hands. I went to Neustaedter's with earrings to repair, intending to buy a new pair as well. Instead of just a business transaction, it was a TOTALLY DELIGHTFUL EXPERIENCE!!! Jewelry stores intimidate me but this was like walking into a group of lifelong friends (who happen to be talented jewelers!) Diana greeted me immediately and we started talking about earrings. She listened carefully and showed me some that were exactly what I had in mind. I didn't feel any pressure to buy earrings that were flashier or more expensive -- these are perfect. While we were looking, she introduced me to everyone else who was working and showed me her dad's incredible engraving work. It was such a fun experience! She also told me that they would repair my original pair on site rather than shipping them off for repair. How rare is this??? When walking into this store, you are greeted with a bright smile, prior to departing, you are blessed with well wishes and a warm hug. The time in between you are treated like family and viewed as family by ALL of the employees. I watched Richard pick up a plain old Zebra ball point pen off of his desk, settle his glasses on his nose, and listen intently to my every word as I described a custom signet ring to him.
