Restaurant Depot. — Attraction in Valley View

A truly terrible place to go and shop. I'm a business owner and decided that I would sign up for a membership to restaurant Depot. I had been a member before with a previous business but now since I have a new business I had to re-register. The registration process was fairly easy as I was able to do it online. Shortly after that I received a confirmation email that contained my barcode and my membership number. There were also instructions on how to go about getting my membership card. I went up to the valley view restaurant Depot along with all of my documentation that was needed as per section 3 of the email. I started at the customer service desk and after waiting about 15 minutes the customer service representative in charge of memberships walked up. I asked her if she could help me register for membership. She snapped back at me stating that I needed documentation and to register online. I smiled and said that I had already registered online had received my confirmation email and had brought the documents as per section three of the email. I handed the documents to her and with a disgusted look on her face she said that I did not have the needed documents and that I could not register to be a member here. I went back home and checked over my documents and found that in fact I did have all of the documents needed and had even brought more documents to support the documents that I had. I come to the conclusion that she was either having a bad day or that she was a bigot and was angry at my race or skin color. I do not recommend this business as the customer service representative is supposed to be the nicest and most positive person in the business. I am writing to report a concerning experience at your store ( Valley View, Ohio), which involved unprofessional conduct by a store associate and the misapplication of company policy. I am a loyal customer and member, and i was disappointed by the treatment my daughter and I received during this visit. Upon entering the store with y 15 year old, an associate informed us that she could not enter because she was not listed on my business membership. ( why would a minor be listed on my business account). The associate (hair with colorful corn rolls) claimed that as of June 2025, no children was allowed in the warehouse. This interaction was particularly distressing as the associate was very dismissive, claimed she knows he rules and spoke to us in a disrespectful manner. My child was asked to leave the premises, despite under my supervision. I contacted your corporate office to clarify the policy and was informed that no such rule prohibiting children exists. The associate's behavior not only caused unnecessary distress but also felt discriminatory, as my child was unfairly singled out and asked to leave without a valid policy to support the decision. I have been shopping at Restaurant Depot ever since they first opened more than 5 years ago I've been a dedicated customer I love the customer service I love the quality of the products are I love the price of the product there I love everything about Restaurant Depot they have everything that you need if they don't have something they will do research and see if they can get it for you I've had very good experiences with that the price is always lower than other competitors in the same industry I'm very happy with that that's what US restaurant owners love fresh Products that allow us to sell our customers as quality product that is fresh at a low budget price I couldn't believe the prices and I mean they got me stuck I wouldn't go anywhere else if I didn't have to get other objects and items from other places but sometimes you do have to travel outside of you know your normal to get other things that's not Restaurant Depot SWAT but I still wouldn't trade them for any other place in the world thank you Restaurant Depot I love you guys and everything to do over there and Valley View and that's yours truly from Pete's Deli...
