Cemetery Trailhead - Island Center Forest — Attraction in Vashon Island

Nice to see a big park in the middle of "town". Maps at each parking area relay on you knowing the entrance you came in at . No you are here arrows. A bear warning was up with no details. Dog owners seem to use the blue bags, but horse owners don't. We went around by mountain bike considering the archery hunting season. Vashon does have a population explosion on deer. In our eyes, they do not seen to be in this park, the designated area, but vary fat and happy under every apple tree, veg garden and munching beautiful flowers. We saw 10 on private property posted no hunting, and 0 in the park, as well no scatt, or tracks. It did look like a fun place...

A magical experience awaits you in this forest, both in the views and the friendly people you'll meet. We meant to take a short 1/2 mile stroll, but it was beautiful and inviting we wound up walking almost 4 miles through one inspiring landscape after another.
