This was a gorgeous beach. We went on a Thursday at noon and it felt like we had half the beach to ourself. We wrote in the sand and dipped in the water. The waves were beautiful but definitely a bit strong. Some parts had a lot of stones and kelp. But the view and overall space was so peaceful and serene. Here is a nice drone video so you can all see how beautiful it was. There are showers but they seemed a bit dirty. There were no restrooms that we found. Thankfully our airbnb was close by so we just waited until we got home to use the restroom. That is the only downside — restrooms are important...
Read moreBeach is clean, soft sand on the beach. Some rocks in the water but you can see where to walk and where not to walk. We always see sea turtles while we snorkel. There is an amazing reef just outside the swim area and a fun little reef within the swim area. Water was clear, people had been very friendly. Some stands for beverages, food or miscellaneous items. $4 for parking. We saw some showers but did not see or look for bathrooms. Beach was not very crowded on Saturday afternoon. 2 lifeguard stands. This is by far our favorite beach so far on the north side...
Read moreBeen going here since we were small children, now brought our children and our parents all back. Still a great spot. Clean water, not touristy (mostly locals), space for you to set hammocks and picnic tables for the family to have lunch. If you want to take the family for a short trail walk up into the area to tge right of the beach, you can get a great view. And you may even find "cobitos" and "cangrejos" along the way. By the way, the water here isn't rough at all, very light waves. So great for small...
