Playa De Vega — Attraction in Vega Baja

Super Great Beach! But there is No Shades, No Trees, No Nothing to Escape the 100* Degrees Sun Rays Coming down at you 100%. No Showers to take a shower, to take a Quick Cold Shower to Lower your Heat!. Overall is a Great Beach if you go in the Morning and leave before 12 Noon, and come back after 4PM when the sun rays is no longer Strong. and enjoy a Great Afternoon with the family at the beach. so you have two Options a Great Morning at the Beach or a Great Afternoon at the Beach, unless you dont care getting Scorched by the sun all day and come out with a Nasty Sun Burn and be all night and next Suffering the Consequences like we did and not even the sun block or aloe vera did nothing to alleviate the pain we all had for a few...

I was just looking for a different beach that wasn’t in my town or ones I frequent and found this gem!!! Playa de Vega in Vega Baja is wonderful, calm seas, cristal clear, very clean, amenities, umbrella rentals etc. I even saw a lifeguard go out to the water to help out a family with a handicapped person several times and she was always very gracious! It is a great place for families with children. My kids love it, family I’ve taken there also love it. I highly recommend it, if you are visiting the island and are staying in San Juan you are about 45-60 mins away and it’s well...

Great beach! Awesome for kids the water is literally crystal clear and very small waves so great for swimming. The bathrooms were clean and so close to th beach however they did close the bathrooms right at 5 5:30 so try to plan around that. There are outdoor showers accessible even when bathrooms are closed which is very helpful. Also there is good food walking distance and there was a little shop right on the beach with ice , hats and floaties. We payed 4$ for parking....
