Good food, but a bit of a messy process when ordering things not readily available (read: they ran out of an item and are cooking more). They give you a receipt, and you sort of wander around until you feel like they may have cooked the stuff, and then you show up again to ask where the food is. They may be done. They may not. It's bizarre. They should tell you to sit down at a table and then bring you the stuff you've been waiting on like any other normal restaurant....

We recently spent a week in Vega Baja and Costa Norte was the place we frequented the most often. If you're hanging out in the area, you probably will too! :) There are about a dozen empanadillas to choose from including cheese, ground beef, octopus, and shark. We also had the Carne Ahumada en Salsa de Guayaba Y Queso Fundido (Smoked pork in guava sauce with melted cheese) and a side of mofongo. This dish was oustanding!
