Most disgusting cleveland beach I've been to so far. All shale rock and crushed shell with TONS of trash litter, and TONS of dead fish. Very mucky dirty water. I couldnt believe a lady was letting her kids swim in this water and I am not picky at all when it comes to swimming in nature..no sea glass and no where to put in a kayak (or any other vessel for that matter) either. We drove another 10 minutes down lake rd to nickle plate and what a world of difference. Curious to find out what the vermillion beach is like a few minutes eastward. Passed a sign for it on the way home from hurons nickel plate, and the map does have a lighthouse listed, but it didnt appear on a google search for...

We LOVE ❤️ this park. It is well maintained, and they have mowed paths for a trail that my Dogs and I Love. This is more of a leisure park, for a nice stroll. It is wheelchair friendly if you just want to sit by the lake and see the sunset, but the trails are mowed grass and not paved, so not wheelchair friendly on the paths. However, it has a huge paved parking lot that is right on the lake. It's a Beautiful 🥰 Place to read a good book or just appreciate the Beauty and Awesome Power of Lake Erie. This Park also has many trash cans in the Parking Lot so No Littering is easy to accomplish to keep this park Clean. They do Not have restrooms...

The new playground it great! They have a spot for mobile babies (6 months) and up to 23 months I believe. Then a spot for toddlers. Then a spot for kindergarten and up. They also have a zip line, but it was broken when we were there. As a family we used to go here to stargaze and catch fireflies, I’m so glad they put a playground up. It’s so much fun for kids and parents. Even saw some teens playing on it (making it an...

Very nice park that includes a pavilion with a great little beach on lake Erie! The beach is full of fine sand and the water is shallow for a few hundred yards. The sand is a little sticky compared to typical sand at an ocean, but nothing too serious. Be sure to check the quality of the water before you go! We went skim boarding and it was a good place to learn on flat, shallow water before hitting the waves at the ocean.
