Google was wrong on how to reach the Trailhead, but the rangers at the state park explained how to find it. The end of the trail where the footprints are is actually right across the reservoir from the state park. The turnoff was about a mile past the park, straight across from the Simplot mine turnoff. The trail had several beautiful vistas, and they used painted dino tracks to keep you going the right way, which is good since even with them we did lose our way once. The trail is moderate in difficulty, but is worth the 1.5 miles each way for the view of the reservoir.
