Was great a year+ ago, but in the past year all seating has been removed except the benches that are surrounded by dirt (bad idea with dogs racing around). As well, people are always leaving toys for other dogs when they leave, but they no longer remain... Either someone is administratively removing them or suddenly people have sticky fingers and are taking the donated toys home. While it's cyclical, fire ants have been much more prevalent than in the past. It's been around long enough now that some people owners with very violent dogs are no longer worried about coming there, and no steps are being taken to address it anymore. Frequently fights have to be broken up by others as the hostile pets owners seem to not really care. Water stations haven't worked properly the last several times I've been... Dog level fountains are permanently clogged since about a year ago it seems, so stagnant bacteria filled water is there waiting to sicken your pup. You can run the fountain to overflow it to help a little, but obviously the drain working would be infinitely more effective. Rather disappointing compared to...

WOW, this is the best dog park in the USA!!! And I am not exaggerating— I have been to dog parks all over the country, and nowhere compares to the Vero Beach Dog Park. It’s not only a massive property with a giant area for big dogs, large area for small dogs, and a dedicated “quiet area” for our old four-legged friends, but it is also very well maintained with several shaded benches to hang out while our furry family members play with each other.

I often hear people say, “Isn’t it so special that we have this place?” And I agree. This is a special place for our dog-loving community to meet and spend time with each other. I’ve met SO MANY great people, both young and old, through the dog park. The regulars all know each other, and their dogs, by name and welcome newcomers with a smile. I recommend everyone bring their dogs here and help support it in any way they can. Thank you to those who keep this place for our community— I know I speak for a lot of people when I say thank you, we appreciate...

The Vero Beach Dog Park is a great place. It is large, clean and well maintained, and is visited by well behaved dogs and mostly considerate dog owners. There are water taps and bowls for the dogs to have cool and clean drinking water. There are also comfortably shaded pavilions, benches and lawn chairs for the human guests. This park exists because of the generosity of some really terrific people to whom we patrons owe gratitude and support. I love this dog park and so does my pup.

My only complaint about this park concerns a small but annoying minority of the human visitors that do not clean up after their dogs. These people need to put down their phones and pay attention to their pets--the pups can't clean up their own poop. It is inconsiderate to the owners and supporters of this great place as well as its many courteous visitors. The park supplies poopy bags and disposal bins all throughout the park, and most people who visit here are very attentive of their pets and clean up behind...

This park is the largest, and well maintained I've ever visited. They have at about 10 watering spots for dogs in the over 30lbs section, and 3 location in the small dog section. Park benches scattered throughout the park many have canvas coverings for dog and human shade. Popular times seem to be 8:00 am till 10am and 4:30pm till dusk. The park could have 50 dogs and not feel crowded. Waste bags are free at the entrances. The park survives by donations and boxes for donations are located at the two entrance points. If you bring your dog here be a responsible owner and pick up your dog's waste.
