The walk of lights was not by any means worth $22/person and is very much the same as driving through the holiday lights at bull run, except at bull run, you don't have a whole bunch of entitled adults trying to run down children who are attempting to enjoy the experience for the first time. Several groups of all grown-ups came inches away from trampling my kids who were, naturally, in awe and amazement of everything around them. I had to yank them out of the way more than once because fully grown people have no manners or self awareness. Would I come here again? Absolutely not, but maybe if there were a limit on adult to child ratio and the price accurately reflected the experience. For $22/person, you can easily include hot chocolate and snacks. This is just another NoVA money grab crowded with spoiled adults who feel they are more important than the children. Do yourself a favor and skip this, especially anywhere near Christmas. $80 for 3 people to be frozen, nearly shoved off the pathway, and rushed along by a bunch of self-important NPCs. Never again.

We went early this year. Before Thanksgiving. My daughter na do go annually. We love seeing the new decorations every year. This is the first year we stopped for s’more’s. It’s usually crazy. But we were the last time slot of the night and it was cold and very early in the season. Definitely worth it! We always get the hot chocolate. It’s our absolute favorite.
