Homestead Hollow County Park — Attraction in Village of Germantown

This a beautiful park with really nice walking trails. Except some people are going to ruin it for others. Their is a ordinance that ALL DOGS must be leashed.{Their is signs stating it} I walk my puppy there every day and EVERYDAY I run across people that think they don't need to follow ordinances. My 5 month old puppy has been bull rushed three times now. Yesterday the owner didn't even bother to call dog back. Just apologized once he got up by me. On top of that people are not picking up the dog waste. {Again, Signs all over stating pick up your dogs waste} Their is dog waste everywhere on trails and soccer fields. Just really sad that a few people have to ruin a good thing for others. Soon this beautiful park will be like others and not allow dogs, And I will only have these people to thank for that!! I give 5 stars for this beautiful park but won't give one star for people that bring their dogs there and not take...

The only positive is that it's big and fenced in. The people who made this may have had good intentions but they didn't know Jack about dogs. One, there's no signage besides the entrance signage for where exactly the dog park is located. Two, once you find the dog park you realize it's way in the back. Three, there is no water source for the puppers. Not a fountain, nothing, so the dogs cannot get water which is actually pretty unsafe. Four, not one person was wearing a mask.
