I googled parks near me. Valleydale park had good reviews, plus a water part for kids, Small community park, with all the amenities. Basketball court, baseball diamond, exercise equipment, water play area, and two playgrounds. My son loved it so we will definitely go back. Oh ya, it's got plenty of tree's, picnic tables, and benches.

Hard to find an open water play area during covid for obvious reasons but this one is open and lots of space for social distancing! There is also an attendant there with a first aid kit. Open 9-6pm. So happy to be able to get my kid outside in a safe space!

The splash pad is shaded and constantly flowing during business hours. My 1 year old had a blast

When I was a kid this park was my favorite place to be in 1975-1978. I remember the summer club for kids was Get High On Life. We get free lunch and go to Gladstone High pool after. I also remember the trip to San Diego. We camped at Boy Scout Camping area near the Zoo. We took the Amtrak down there and back.

There is a tree still there that I climbed on and carved my x-girlfriend and my initials in. I was there in 2005 and they are still there. Never married her... :( I remember one year they had a toys for tots event there, I do not remember who was famous at the time the showed up but I do remember that event.

The Park has a deal you could check something out but you have to leave something important so the park could be sure you came back. They had a huge ball that was about 7 feet round. kids would run and slam themselves against it. There was a little boy that ran towards the ball and a much older and big kid slam himself against it and the little kid went flying and landed on the side walk. The mother freaked out and the park took the ball and flattened it and would not let anyone use it...

This park is very unfair i got kicked out with a group of friends for having an illegal soccer game which is dumb because the park is public and its use for gatherings. How is it illegal to play aoccer with friends in the grass but its not illegal for people gathering having pick up games at the basketball courts. Make it make sense. Do better its a public park i pay for it with my hard earn money that gets taken away from...

Park is ok. Tiny tots program is good if you just need someone to take care of your kids for 3 hrs but if you want them to actual learn things such as reading, learn vowels , vocabulary, numbers, etc. not a great program. The sports program can be great but needs a lot of improvement with organization and communication. Overall I would give them a high...
