Utah Lake Shore Trail — Attraction in Vineyard

Great views! Utah Lake is within Utah Valley, in north-central Utah. Mountains surround Utah Valley on three sides: The Wasatch Range to the east, Traverse Mountains to the north, and the Lake Mountains to the west. Mount Nebo reaches an altitude of 11,863-foot and Mount Timpanogos reaches an altitude of 11,745-foot , nearly 7,250 feet above the valley floor. Jutting into the south portion of the lake is 6,805-foot  West Mountain, which divides Goshen Bay and Lincoln Beach. Utah Lake is situated on the western edge of the valley and covers more than 25% of Utah Valley's floor. Because of its location on the western side of the valley, the eastern shore has a gentle slope and the western shore rises abruptly against the Lake Mountains. This trail exceeded my expectations. I loved enjoying sunset while walking along the trail. I enjoyed watching the ducks swim, and caught a glimpse of 2 beautiful cranes. I enjoyed the sound of a wonderful variety of birds in the grasses. I loved walking down close to the lake and finding a stream and a swing. The beauty of the lake, and the fresh lake smell was refreshing, and the views of the mountains was stunning especially when they lite up all pink from the sunset. The book the Nature Fix states lots of studies that are proving how being out in nature especially a place that inspires awe dramatically increases your immune system, your creativity, and your emotional wellness. This walk was a perfect awe hike for me that I felt entirely replenished afterwards.

So sad to see photo image shopped with this review. Here are some areas that you may want to plan and understand what you might xome across.should plan on going through while enjoying the great trail.

The reason I have posted this is that residents of this lake side town are concerd at Vineyard Beach Utah. On this Trail, #Shoshone have visited recently to ask for cleanup and not more dumping into the lake.

Not sure if you are familiar with Shoshones but the famous #Sacagwea tribe is #Shoshone.

Just really hoping it will be cleaned up soon and the health issues for ourselves and kids are also considered.
