Vineyard Bakery — Restaurant in Vineyard

I didn’t think I liked sourdough before I had some from Vineyard Bakery! Mardi was so confident and I was skeptical. I’d had sourdough at some fine restaurants before and didn’t understand the hype… oh my gosh, it’s no comparison! I’ve never had better bread in my life!!!!!! Baked to perfection, so delicious and beautiful, handmade goodness! I couldn’t get over how good it was! I took some to my husband—also a non-believer— he was blown away too! We live toooooo far away to be regular customers so I asked Mardi to teach me and she spent her whole day teaching me her craft! She shared her secrets and let me tell you that it’s worth way more than she charges! Ssoooooo gggoooooooddd! Then I tried to get some from Costco as it’s so much closer to me and the two products are not even in the same realm. A friend of ours recommended we try this bread saying it was to die for. Since I love sour dough and especially home made sourdough, we thought we’d give it a try. I asked for a recommendation and they said we couldn’t go wrong with the Asiago. My wife and I ordered the Asiago last week and were blown away! This week we ordered the Asiago AGAIN and the cinnamon chip and now I’m worried about our bank account because this bread is so good! Pick up some meat and cheese and the Asiago makes a great reuben! We were told the cinnamon chip makes some great French toast so I have that to look forward to. I hope this review helps if you’re sitting on the fence about ordering.
