Great tour ! Our guide was awesome we were even taking inside one of the buildings at night which is unusual for most ghost tours! I recommend this tour. It was the best ghost tour I’ve ever been to! 👍🏽👍🏽

The open-air museum in Nevada City and the train were closed yesterday (June 17, 2014), so we tried today. Closed AGAIN! Due to "weather" the rumor was up in Virginia City, where the merchants were getting hot under the collar at this asinine move on the State's part.

People drive from all over the state and country to visit VC and NC. Why in the world would you close the museum and the train?! Of course it's cold. Of course it's raining. Of course there's sleet and snow. THIS IS SUMMER IN MONTANA!!! If it's a staffing problem, open up the gates and let us in on the honor system. Letting a few people in for free is better than disappointing every single person who made the trip to visit the museum.

If you don't maintain consistent hours, tourists and locals alike are going to lose interest and head to Bannack or the Museum of the Rockies instead for a reliable experience.

The powers-that-be should be ashamed of themselves for this stunt! Here's hoping they can get it together. And if they can't, perhaps Helena should reconsider the people they put in charge of running the open-air...

You learn a lot about some crazy stuff from the very pleasant and knowledgeable tour guide (Lois was great in our case), and don’t be surprised if you have some sort of encounter - take lots of pics! I’m still going through mine - not sure if anything happened on the walk for me yet - but we did have our experiences that couldn’t be explained during our two-day stay - the Bonanza...

We spent a fun few days in Virginia City/Nevada City MT - a step back in time! We stayed in the cutest old house, ate lots of homemade ice creamer The Creamery, had a great steak dinner at the Wells Fargo Steakhouse, enjoyed “Rumplestiltskin” by the Virginia City Players, learned lots of history on our fire engine tour, saw lots of artifacts, panned for gold, and had the BEST cinnamon roll at the Star Bakery - to name just a few of...
