I’ve been bringing my kids here forever. I think the playground was new when I started taking my 12 yr old when she was two. The playground could use some TLC lately. There’s some graffiti and could use more mulch. Last time we went the duck spring ride had finally been taken down. The turtle has been gone for a few years. Hopefully something will replace them. The circle path is good for walking or riding bikes and scooters. There’s a few biking trails that you can walk too. It does get super muddy after rain so be careful. There’s a little creek you can walk down to and cross a bridge at a few different points. We saw a water snake hanging out in the creek this summer so watch where you’re stepping. Pavilions are nice for gatherings. If you’re into disc golf, they have a great course. I’ve also seen that the parks and rec have been doing more family events which is great for...

Fun place to walk. Main park has paved trails with gentle slopes. There are exercise stations along the trail. The landscaping is extensive with common and exotic plants. It would be nice if they had plaques that identified the plants. The pond trail needs work after the extremely wet year in the area but we managed that trail by using the edges vs the center. We found interesting plants and fungi, heard birds and saw several species. In spring there are tiny frogs near the trails. The main park is family friendly with lots of space for children to walk/run off energy. Handicap friendly on paved walks with exercise stations geared to wheelchairs included in the plan. There are blooming plants most seasons of the year. Loquats were blooming and Holly bushes had berries New Year's day. Located close to the Walmart shopping area, it can be a reward for good behavior for young...

Most well kept park in the area in my opinion! I was surprised to see them have so many incredible things such as a skate park, bike park, trails, disc golf, huge playgrounds, and so much more!

The disc golf course is so awesome! I will always talk about how beautiful, well maintained this course is. The holes are well designed and playing with the app UDisc makes navigating the land a breeze! It’s a pretty big course with a lot of walking so I recommend that you bring some water! Love playing this course and it has some great features that no matter what level your playing at...

We’re loving the new ADA-compliant playground at Falling Creek Park! Every child deserves a place to play, and this one is a total win! #BedfordVA #destinationbedfordva #VisitVirginia #vaisforartlovers #parks #playground
