This lake is surrounded by residential homes, including single-family houses and townhouses. -Multiple trail access points can be found around the lake. Some areas feature large playgrounds, basketball courts, baseball fields, a soccer goal, and 3-4 picnic tables. You may also encounter geese, ducks, deer, and squirrels along the way. The trail around the lake is approximately 1.8 miles long and offers a mix of shaded (65%) and open (35%) areas. The trail surface is primarily dirt, with some paved sections near playgrounds and dams. The trail has slight elevation changes (similar to climbing 10-15 steps), and features roots, gravel, rocks, and bridges in certain sections. There is a parking area near the playground that can accommodate about 10 cars. A portable toilet is also located nearby. The lake attracts a diverse crowd, including seniors, families, fitness enthusiasts, and people walking their dogs. Children typically play in the playground area.

[Personal Opinion] This is a peaceful and clean lake, perfect for leisurely walks or jogging. The ground can be quite wet and slippery after rain or on rainy days. (Trail running shoes is suggested than road running shoes) The still water in some areas can cause a slightly unpleasant smell due to...

This is reasonably small lake compared to other lakes in this area. The water on the lake is not that deep and in the shallow water there are hundreds of of fish, mostly small ones. If you go when the sun is a bit downside you can easily see them floating near the edge. If you like to run or jog this one has a long trail to follow where you can easily enjoy your time. The thing I liked about the trail is it has a number Gymnastics equipment built in and attached detail instructions incase if you are not sure how to use them. Last time I checked they were well maintained and people were actually using them comfortably. If you like to fish this place has a lot to offer. The lake is full of small fishes. I am not sure about the big fishes as the water is not deep, but you can catch hundreds of small fishes in one afternoon. Though this place is quiet and safe for most of the run, as there is no fence I would watch the children all the times. There are some places where you will find some stones and be tempted to sit, but be careful as they have some thorny bushes and grasses which may cause serious injury if not careful. You can camp there, I am not sure about the overnight camping due to modified schedule, Overall this place is very relaxing...

This is my favorite neighborhood nature trail. The trail that loops around the lake is just shy of 2-miles (1.9-miles). The trail for the most part is hard packed gravel and includes some hills /steps. It can get a little muddy but it includes lots of shade. There is some exercise equipment along the trail. The trail is not stroller friendly and bikes are not permitted. Parking can be a little difficult to find but there are several side trails that lead to the main trail. Just be sure to park legally if parking along one of the residential side streets. The park includes soccer, baseball, basketball, and a playground. There are plenty of spots for fishing. There is also a launch...

20230723 One of my favorite places to walk my pups. This is a nice trail around the lake. It's about 2 miles from where I park, around the lake, and back to my car. Most of the trail is gravel and dirt with small section where the baseball field and playground are is paved. There are some fitness equipment on the trail, turn right when facing the lake,, near where I park by the swim building. There were quite a bit of human and dog traffic on the trail. I would come back here again.
