We booked this park for my son 1st birthday. It's in July so I new it would be hot. I prepared for the heat with outdoor Acs and fans. Thus is my first grandson so I went all out. I planned this party pretty much since he was born. So you will understand my anger when I get to the next part. Fast forward to the day of. I loaded up a you haul and headed to the park. That day was gonna be 111 degrees. Hella hot!! I get to the park and the first thing I do is plug in the AC. It didn't work. I walked around to the other arbors and no electricity. A park ranger came and said the electricity is turned on but not working. It was a Sunday so I couldn't get a hold of the city and there was nothing I the ranger could do. I had to cancel the party. My daughter was heart broken. And to top it off they would not refund the fees we paid. I understand things happen out of their control but we should have been refunded. I am not only out the park fees but hundreds that I spent in planning. Don't book this park especially if you will...
Read moreGreat park, beautifully green and lots of space-but bathrooms are a little iffy... As for the homeless, they're in their vehicles and/or way off the the south of the park keeping to themselves... Not an issue in my eyes. But if you still have issues with them, have no fear, the "HOPE" team will eventually run through and harass and impound, and take their stuff and/or arrest them pushing them further and further into poverty and depression rather than do what their name stands for-and you won't have to deal with it... 🙈Yay for you...Psssh.
** I've been at 2 of the parks the day they come out (Thursdays) and witnessed their way of dealing with they homeless and honestly it's pretty damn pathetic. the officers are so unbelievably insincere and cruel and disrespectful. And I mean DISRESPECTFUL. They in no way live up to their name that's...
Read moreThis is a beautiful park with green manicured grass, tall Pines trees and a winding creek bed. At this time, there is no water in creek. Plenty of convenient parking. The walkway winds around the entire park. There is plenty of picnic tables, a barbeque area and a children's play area. The bathroom isn't always maintained, however and that is the downside of this park. I did not see homeless people with tents and I have been to this park many times. It's a comfortable place to sit under a tree and relax or write or draw. My dog loves it here and perks up when I'm just driving into the park to park my car. There's always been children here when I've visited and their laughter will...
