In my opinion, this is a great starter trail. It’s easy and light, making it a perfect choice for those new to hiking. The waterfall, if you can call it that, is pretty cool, but it’s not the kind you’ll see on TikTok, showcasing the majestic mountains and waterfalls of Washington or Yosemite Park. This is Indiana, folks. This is the best you’ll get without driving 3-4 hours away. It’s not too bad if you’re in the Fort Wayne area. The time to complete this straight to the waterfall and back is probably less than an hour, probably 45 mins if you really wanted it to be shorter.

An underrated trail. Multiple trails that branch out from the main trail and also come back to the main trail, which is great for casual/convenient walks. You can do a small loop or a larger loop, I could spend hours here. Always clean great for birdwatching, and we always see deer here. It's quiet and all the people I come across here are very nice.

I really enjoyed my hike here. Kinda shocked i haven't been threw there before with as much time I spend in the State Forest. Some old buildings, and a great overlook of the river. I look forward to hiking it again and trying some of the other trails.

Our first visit. The trails were very well marked and easy to follow. Lots of twists and turns so we never knew what to expect around the next bend. It was easy to see around us because nothing has leaked out yet. I'm assuming it's a much "tighter" trail when in full bloom. we are looking forward to...
