Blue Jay Point County Park — Attraction in Wake Forest

beautiful park with outdoor play areas. The place that is undergoing reconstruction at the moment which was a little disappointing. I'm not sure if they have it on their website I haven't checked yet. I remember going here as a child and took my own son, and didn't think about them redoing anything. They took advantage of lack of people from the pandemic and are redoing it which I'm glad about, but I was sad that my son couldn't play while we were there. We did however enjoy walking on their paths and playing on some of the other outdoor play equipment. They've got a sand area and a big open field. Highly recommend coming here. They also have the go ape experience which looks like a lot of fun, but my son is a little young and we didn't explore...

SWEET PLAYGROUND! I believe it’s a very similar copy of the one at Crowder County Park, which is also a sweet playground as well. We originally visited maybe 4-6 months ago, and the playground area was under construction…Good to see this playground finished snd completed! I love how the entire area was layed out, all the creative ways to climb up to the second level, or even the third level to go down one of their super slides. Blue Jay Point is a great park to bring your family and enjoy the outdoors. The trails are excellent for running or hiking, and the park is always working on a new experience for the kids. Right now, there is a story walk near the playground, and the education center is packed with information about helping our city and world.
