My visit to Badlands National Park was truly unforgettable. The park's unique landscape, with its stunning rock formations, badlands formations, and vast prairies, left me in awe. The scenic Loop Road provided access to numerous overlooks, trails, and photo opportunities, showcasing the park's natural beauty.

From hiking through the Badlands formations to spotting wildlife like bison and prairie dogs, every moment was filled with wonder and excitement. The park's rich geological history and diverse ecosystems added depth to my experience.

If you have never been, go. The views are amazing, the wildlife is abundant and the memories are forever. Be cautious walking the trails and "uncharted places". You never know who will be around the corner like my buddy Frank who happened to be waiting for me around a hoodoo. No...I did not attempt to pet the Fluffy Cow as we were both surprised by eachothers presence. Go...you will not...

Together with the Joshua Tree National Park this is probably one of the rather underrated parks in the US. Obviously it is not the Grand Canyon, but it's absolutely worth visiting for its beautiful scenery and the changes in landscape driving through the park.
