Read moreTrue to its name – Easy stop. This particular stop is right off the South east side of 240. It is an easy pull-off with about 25 parking spaces for cars and a lane for about 2 or 3 RV’s. It is very true to its name and gives a view of the hills off to the South of the parking lot which are a lot of yellow and whitish hills. It is a very nice view of the colored hills. It's not as vast as the Grand Canyon or as colorful as the Painted Desert, but there's a simpleness to the Badlands that reminds you how difficult and dangerous travel and homesteading must have been for folks traversing the high plains on horse & in wagons.
