The aviary has unique and colorful birds. The white peacock was breath taking. The black swans are beautiful. My son loved the little bird that ran along the fence after him. The only thing that could have made it better for my little one was being able to see the birds easier. The brush and foliage is very overgrown. This made it hard for him to see the birds. Pioneer Park Aviary was well maintained (our visit was Jan 30, 2022), it was somewhat crowded but people mainly did their own thing and parking was reasonable. It was fun walking around to see all the different kinds of birds. We even took some time and fed the squirrels! The more exotic bird species are behind fences with signage giving the bird name and some info on it. Seagulls and Squirrels are everywhere in the open area of the park. Ducks are both in the water and on land. Be mindful of where you step as there is animal waste in both the grass and on the pavement. Photos taken...

Lots of room to roam, there's an aviary with a variety of beautiful birds and also a tortoise. Multiple ponds with benches nearby to sit and admire. Lots of walking paths throughout the park. A large playground for kids of all ages, as well as smaller playground equipment for the younger kiddos. A large pickle ball court, with games always going. They also have two ping pong tables for the community to share. There's limited parking throughout the park, some spots are shaded by the trees. There are multiple flower gardens and a beautiful fountain that runs water...
