Arbolado Park — Attraction in Walnut Creek

Arbolado Park is back in a quiet neighborhood on the west flank of the Diablo foothills. In recent months some of the play structures have seen some improvements, and sun canopies have appeared above some of the picnic tables. There are play spaces here for all ages, and generally the sand pit has a few toys left there in perpetuity by regulars to the park, and these are generally free to use by anyone. Mid sized city park with pretty clean bathrooms and two good sized parking lots. BBQs and tables under trees or shades are available for use. It has a basketball court, tennis courts, and a playground all with water nearby. A soccer field above the upper lot can make parking there tough when there are games but the rest of the time parking is not a problem. Nice...
