I have such a love-hate relationship with this park. The only reason I give it 4 not 5 stars is because, unless you've got someone showing you around...give yourself time to get lost. The trail markers are bountiful, but not helpful. And, in the middle of what was supposed to be a 12 mile loop, I discovered that the trail was closed and overgrown...something that hadn't been updated on any website or park communication...that also included fording quite a large, shin-deep section of the creek.
Otherwise, it's gorgeous and easy to spend hours and hours in - the trails are varied, the terrain is challenging, and the scenery...
