The park itself is quaint and quiet. It basically is one giant Loop that circles around some ball fields and goes beside the river. The nice thing about it is there are geese which seem to flock frequently in the area. This is also one of the biggest letdowns because they go to the bathroom everywhere. If you are walking on foot or using a wheelchair it is almost impossible to dodge all of their excrement. That is the main reason why I took a star off of there reading. As a bonus however, they have some of the prettiest greenhouses and buildings I've came across in Warren. Read moreIncredible park that’s over 100 years old. Surrounded by the Mahoning River. You can launch your kayak from the boat launch or enjoy the pond. Picnic tables , Baseball fields , and swing sets for the children of Warren to play at. Close by is the Packard Music hall. They have a great set up here. The best time is when all the gates are closed and you don’t have tons of speeding cars whipping around the park. That’s probably one of the only issues or people not cleaning up after themselves.
