Callahans Irish Pubs — Restaurant in Warren

This, so-called, Irish Tavern was local to where we were, tonight. So, we thought we'd give it a try as we love tavern food. The place is cute and clean-ish. The bartender is polite. That is as good as it gets. We ordered our appetizers and burgers. My appetizer arrived...five tiny mushrooms. Then, 15 minutes later we were told they only had enough burgers to make one. So, I order a Reuben. It arrives in 15 minutes, but hubby has not yet gotten his appetizer. I finish my Reuben and five minutes later hubby's appetizer showed up. His food came 10 after that! My Reuben was good, but the bread was soggy as it wasn't toasted. Hubby's load fries were "loaded" in cold cheese whiz without the bacon topping. The burger was missing half it's toppings, but it had enough mayo for three. We had to search for our own napkins and I didn't get any water til we were finished eating. Hubby didn't get any and had to share mine! To top it off we had to be subjected to a foul, loud mouthed, drunk idiot who knew ten words and 7 of those were swear words that he obnoxiousy yelled, non-stop. Most of the music was terrible and foul garbage. We should have stopped at the "ring to enter" door! A wasted evening and $30 out the window. Great place for...

I don’t set my hopes high for anything in Warren but this place actually pissed me off picture this it’s saint Patrick’s day and all you want is an Irish drink and a delicious reuben sandwich, well next year steer clear of this place.

First of all I ordered a chicken sandwich (I had a Reuben for dinner and breakfast earlier in the day my fiance just happens to be a fanatic of the things) and this sandwich tasted like someone inserted a lit cigarette into the chicken and just let it go until that’s all it tasted like however if you chain smoke cigarettes you’d probably love this sandwich, go get one.

The Reuben wasn’t even corn beef it was deli roast beef & AMERICAN cheese my fiance said it woulda been good if he were blackout drunk and had nothing else to eat 😂😂

I’m not dishing out the service because I work in retail I know how hard it can be to attend to everyone in a timely manner but when there are multiple bar tenders on shift someone shouldn’t be waiting 5-10 minutes for their drink, & speaking of drinks mine wasn’t served open or with a glass and had literal rocks in the rim. Idc how busy you are as a bar tender you crack the seal open the bottle etc.

Awesome food, cheap prices, burgers and wings are amazing, drafts are down often but the bucket deal makes up for it. Has a nice pool table ,dart board and keno machine, and the bartender and regulars are awesome people....
