Our fish market is BACK....Many of us " locals were more than sad to see the Warrenton Seafood Market close after many years of great seafood for our community. Fresh crab, oysters, shrimp, salmon. and a seasonal variety of local catch. Now It is Back ! ! ! The good fellow who was the manager of the old store has opened his own store. LOCAL Ownership, small business! The new market is everything that was wonderful about the original shop and now much much more. Maybe she is the expert, and maybe I was wrong- but you don't say something that she thought was absolute to a customer. Especially something that wasn't even important to their product or the order. We just bought some bay shrimp as we were driving back to Portland later that day. I felt like we didn't buy enough. It made me feel bad. And BTW- here is proof of my statement to you. Oregon Coast crabbing is said to be best in the months that end with an ārā, meaning thatĀ fall and winter (October, November and December)Ā are the best seasons to secure the delicious...

Been here several times; fresh oysters (in shell and shucked), clams, fresh fish right off local boats, and in-house cherry-wood smoked oysters and scallops.
I came in and placed an order for a big party I was having, and when I arrived they had it all ready to go in a box with lots of ice. The smoked scallops and oysters were a huge hit; I made a crab-mac with their fresh picked shelled dungeoness, and shrimp cocktail with Oregon shrimp. 10 lbs of mixed manila/butter clams all fresh, all popped, yummy.
