My wife, a friend, and I had a wonderful time at Rushland Ridge sampling wines and learning about the winemaking process from Kip. We visited late in the day, but Kip didn't mind and allowed us the time to taste and explore. He showed us how he prunes the various vines and explained the difficult process of making wine in the PA climate. The four of us even enjoyed the sunset together. Rita, the resident black lab, is sweet as well, and likes to beg...
Read moreExcellent wine! This place is great! It's small but full of character and Lisa was extremely nice and knowledgeable and she made me feel very comfortable on my latest visit. There's a nice selection of reds and whites and I've been there several times and it's never packed with people even though it is part of the Bucks County Wine Trail. The prices are good ($10-$18 per bottle) as well. Rushland Ridge is definitely a hidden little gem in the heart of Bucks County and...

Always interesting was, depending on the harvest each year, I found I might prefer one slightly more than the other, so tasting each year is as important as it is fun. I am quite impressed with the new addition of the Traminette. I like the sweeter wines for cocktail servings, and the dryer with dinners. They have stayed true to theeir goals of producing well valued, drinkable wines. Definately...
